Guidelines and Rules
LABRFF Media Credentials are not transferable under any circumstances. Violation of this rule will result in an automatic revoke of your credential.
No recording devices are permitted in the theater without prior approval. Theatre security will be monitoring all press and will ask violators to leave. This is the theatre’s rule, not LABRFF’s, so please don’t ask us to change it.
LABRFF Media Credentials do not guarantee seating for any screenings.
No recording devices or photographic cameras are permitted during the screenings.
Only writing reporters will be allowed in the screenings.
LABRFF Media is seated on space availability only, no exceptions.
Media cannot get into screenings without a physical ticket, so arrive early, and check in.
Plan ahead. If there is a film that you want to cover, go to the theatre early and check in at the LABRFF’s table. LABRFF will make every effort possible to accommodate you once the LABRFF ticket holders are seated.
Only LABRFF pre-approved media will be allowed to enter LABRFF events. All other media coverage is extended to the red carpet only, no exceptions.
Photographers and TV crews may have access to the Opening and Closing ceremonies, but will have to leave the room before the screenings start due the capacity of the auditorium. No media will be allowed in the LABRFF’s lounge for interviews during the Opening Night Gala. Interviews must be done during the red carpet only. During the other days of the festival, interviews will be permitted after each screening, as long as scheduled with LABRFF’s media coordinators.
Photographers and TV crews may have access to LABRFF’s lounge for general shots as long as they are authorized and supervised by the festival’s media coordinators.
